Meet Us

40+ years on the Go... and still going!

Trinity UMC-D has been 'on the go in Christ' since 1975. Our mentality has always been "everyone is welcome" and we mean it. In 2019, the congregation voted to become a Reconciling Congregation. In 2020, the congregation as a whole took a more active approach in understanding racism and how we as individuals and a group can combat it.

Over the years, we have hosted numerous groups in our halls, including Scouts, Duncanville Silvers, and Aggie Moms. Church members are active in helping tutor at Smith Elementary in reading skills, working with the local Alzhiemer's group, and participating in yearly mission trips to UMCOR in Sager Brown, LA.

We have held a variety of yearly events for our community, including Immunization Clinics, Bike Days, Rise Against Hunger, and Trunk-or-Treat. In 2016, we installed our very own Little Free Library, where anyone in the community is able to take a free book, as well as leave books for others.

Though COVID-19 and the 2021 winter storms threw a wrench into many plans and activities, Trinity UMC-D is still going strong and laying plans for the future.

Do we seem like an interesting bunch of people? Come spend some time with us this coming Sunday! Click here for service times.
